Coorg-born author Devika Devaiah has won ‘Business Book of the Year’ award instituted by Tata Literature Live! for her best-selling book ‘Orbit-Shifting Innovation: The Dynamics of Ideas that Create History.’
Devika is the daughter of Dr Codanda Devaiah, an ENT specialist based in Madikeri after retirement from the Central government, and Jaji Devaiah.
Based on their collective experiences in Erehwon, an innovation consulting firm, Devika and Rajiv Narang have co-authored the book. It empowers readers to overcome obstacles to innovation and provides the tools to maximise the impact of transformative change. The book brings alive the challenges of innovation in all walks of life: across business, social and government organizations, and provides a unique exploration of what it takes to make successful innovation happen through the use of compelling global stories and proven techniques.
